Introduction 簡介
The rule of law is the cornerstone of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is thus a natural prerequisite to have members of the judiciary and legal practitioners who uphold the rule of law. In light of such need, it is of utmost importance to nurture a group of successors who are willing to join the profession.
The Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association (“the Association”) was established in 2015 by a group of practitioners and law students with a shared passion in promoting legal education. By hosting a series of mooting and mock trial activities and events, the Association aims at providing local secondary school and university students with opportunities to experience legal education and court advocacy, as well as to allow students interested in joining the profession a realistic understanding of the operation of Hong Kong’s legal system. The Association also hopes to promote succession between law students, encouraging current students to pass on their knowledge and experience to their juniors by showing them a realistic view of studying law.
The Association has hosted various events and activities for a total of more than a thousand attendees and participants. These events include the Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition, The Hong Kong Interschool Mediation Tournament, the University Criminal Law Immersion Camp, and the Youth Law Summit, etc.
法治乃香港特別行政區之基石。維護法治需要一群擁護法律的司法及法律人員。尤是觀之，能夠培養出一群日後願意投身司法及法律界的後晉實為重要。
香港學界模擬辯護及模擬法庭協會（簡稱「協會」）於2015年由一班旨於推廣法律教育的法律執業者及法律學生成立。協會透過舉辦一系列的模擬辯護及模擬法庭活動，一直致力為本地中學生及大學生提供接觸法律及法庭訟辯的機會，亦讓有意投身法律界的學生真正了解本港法律制度運作的過程。同時，協會亦藉此希望法學生薪火相傳，為打算攻讀法律的中學生呈現修讀法律真實的一面。
協會曾舉辦的活動包括香港學界模擬辯護及模擬法庭比賽、香港聯校模擬法庭挑戰賽、大學刑事法體驗營、青年法律暑期學堂等，受眾逾千人。
Logo Design 標誌設計簡介
In 2022, the Association launched its new logo to represent its mission and objectives of education, experience and succession.
The Chinese character “學” means, amongst other things, the gaining, study, comprehension and passing-on of knowledge and learning. It is because of this that the Association based the design of its new logo upon this meaningful character from historical Chinese bronze inscriptions.
The spreading of legal knowledge and the spirit of the Rule of Law are core values of the Association. As such, its new logo is an embodiment of several law-related elements and concepts:
- The pair of “乍”on the top part of “學” are advocates’ wigs which symbolises legal practitioners.
- The two crosses in the top centre of “學” are transformed into books and a pair of crossing swords, which respectively represent the legal knowledge and advocacy that the legal profession is built upon.
- The “冖”in the center of “學” represent the neutrality and fairness of the judge’s bench.
- The “子” in the lower part of “學” transforms into a gavel which represents judges and judicial officers.
The new logo is a combination of the above elements and symbolizes the courtroom scene: advocates appearing for each side, using their wealth of legal knowledge and advocacy skills, resolutely arguing their case before a judge.

2022 年中，本會採用了新設計的會徽，象徵重視教育、經驗和傳承的理念和目標。
「學」字,有著獲得、鑽研、掌握、及傳授知識的意思。香港學界模擬辯護及模辯法庭協會的新會徽以「學」字的金文作為基礎。傳授法律知識及法治精神為本會的核心價值，為此本會的新會徽融合了眾多與法律相關的元素：
1.「乍」：學字上部份左右兩端的「乍」，以假髮象徵各法律從業員。
2.「X」：學字上部份中間的兩個「X」，以「書本」及「劍」分別象徵法律中的兩大重要元素–法律知識及訟辯技巧。
3.「冖」：學字中間部份的「冖」，象徵法官席的中立和持平。
4.「子」：學字下部份的「子」，以法槌象徵法官 。
將所有元素融合，新會徵展現了雙方大律師透過他們擁有的法律知識及訟辯技巧於法官席前唇槍舌劍的場景。

The Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association has been registered under the Societies Ordinance (Chapter 151) since September 2015.
香港學界模擬辯護及模擬法庭協會於二零一五年九月根據《社團條例》（第151章）正式註冊。
