The Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association (“the Association”) will be hosting the eighth rendition of its flagship competition – the “Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition 2023/24” (“the Competition”) from October 2023 to April 2024. All undergraduate law students are invited to join the Association as Tutors for the Competition.

The Competition

The Competition is an interschool co-curricular competition that aims to provide local secondary students with opportunities to experience legal education and advocacy.

Details of the Competition are as follows:-

  • Participants:  Secondary students across all forms
  • Content Covered: Criminal & Civil law topics
  • Competition Divisions: English and Chinese

In the past 7 years, over 1,000 secondary students have participated in the Competition and obtained practical trial skills and legal knowledge. Our alumni have returned as trainee practitioners, and more importantly, tutors of the Association.
