Personal Information Collection Statement 收集個人資料聲明
1. Purpose of Collection
The personal data provided by you (on behalf of yourself, your child(ren), your students, or participants of the same team) via this application form to the Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association (the “Association”) may be used for one or more of the following purposes:-
1.1 the processing of applications to and payments for events organised or to be organised by the Association (the “Events”);
1.2 managing contacts for the Events, including but not limited to providing updates to arrangements of the Events where necessary;
1.3 the Association’s annual publication(s);
1.4 marketing of the Events;
1.5 recruiting helpers to the Events;
1.6 monitoring, managing, and improving the quality of Events;
1.7 preventing, protecting against, delaying or otherwise controlling the incidence or transmission of transmissible diseases, including contact tracing; and
1.8 any other purposes in compliance or in accordance with a law or a requirement made under a law (e.g. the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation and the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Vaccine Pass) Regulation).
2. Supply of personal data
2.1 Obligatory purposes
Please note that it is obligatory for you to provide your personal data as requested in this application form for the Association to process your applications to, accept payments for, and manage the Events. We may not be able to process your application and issue participating certificates / letter of certification in the event you do not provide such personal data.
2.2 Voluntary purposes: Recruitment of helpers
You may choose to provide your personal data to the Association for our recruitment (i.e. recruiting you / your students / other participants on the same team as our helpers in future events). Please note that, should you choose not to provide your personal data for the purposes as stated in this Paragraph 2.2.1, the Association will not use the personal data collected from you under this application form for any of the purposes mentioned in this paragraph. You may also exercise your right to opt out from this paragraph 2.2.1 at any time by providing us with written request through email.
2.3 Voluntary purposes: Direct Marketing
We may also use the personal data we collect from you to inform you of our latest Events and/or updates. Unless we obtain from you your consent or an indication of no objection, we will not use personal data already collected from you for any direct marketing purposes. You may also exercise your right to opt out at any time by providing us with written request through email.
3. Possible Transferee
The Association may share your personal data with our official co-organiser(s) for the purpose of monitoring and managing Events. The personal data provided to you may also be shared with our official co-organiser(s) for publication purposes. We may only transfer your personal data to our official co-organiser(s) for direct marketing purposes with your consent. You may also exercise your right to opt out at any time by providing us with written request through email.
4. Right of access and correction

1. 收集目的
香港學界模擬辯護及模擬法庭協會（「本會」或「協會」）會使用 閣下（代表 閣下或 閣下之子女、學生、或同隊參加者）透過本報名表格所提供的個人資料作以下用途：
1.1 處理本會舉辨之活動（「活動」）的報名申請及報名費用；
1.2 聯絡活動參加者，包括但不限於向參加者提供有關活動安排的更新資訊；
1.3 本會的的年刊；
1.4 推廣活動；
1.5 招募義工；
1.6 監測、管理及改善活動質素；
1.7 預防、抵禦、阻延或以其他方式控制2019新型冠狀病毒傳染病的個案或傳播，包括追蹤密切接觸者；及
1.8 依從或根據法例或法例規定下的其他任何目的（例如《預防及控制疾病(規定及指示)(業務及處所)規例》及 《預防及控制疾病(疫苗通行證)規例》）。
2. 提供個人資料
2.1 強制用途
你必須向本會提供本申請表所要求的個人資料，以讓本會可以處理你的報名申請、收取報名費用、及舉辦活動。假如你未能提供所需資料，本會可能未能處理你的報名申請及向你發出參與證書。
2.2 自願用途：招募義工
你可以選擇讓本會使用你提供的個人資料用作招募義工之用途。如果你不願意你提供的個人資料用作本2.2段所定明的用途，本會將不會將通過本申請表向你收集得的個人資料用作本段落定明的用途。你亦可以在任何時候行使你的權利，透過電郵以書面方式向本會提出你拒絕本會根據本2.2 段使用你的個人資料。
2.3 自願用途：直接促銷
本會亦可能會使用你提供的個人資料向你提供本會最新的活動及/或更新。除非本會得到你的同意或不反對通知，本會將不會何時候行使你的權利，透過電郵以書面方式向本會提出拒絕接收任何直接促銷訊息。
3. 可獲轉交資料的人士
本會可能會將你的個人資料轉交予與本會的官方協辨單位，以作監測及管理活動之用。本會有可能會將你提供的個人資料提供予本會的官方協辨單位作出版刊物之用。本會只會在你同意的情況下向本會的官方協辨單位提供你的個人資料作直接促銷之用。你亦可以在任何時候行使你的權利，透過電郵以書面方式向本會提出拒絕接收任何直接促銷訊息。
4. 查閱及更正的權利
你有權要求查閱及更正本會持有關於你的個人資料。如你欲要求查閱及更正你的個人資料，你可以以書面方式聯絡本會，書信抬頭為「摩利臣山郵政局郵政信箱47111號，香港學界模擬辯護及模擬法庭協會保障資料主任」，或電郵至 info@hkmoot.org。
